Choice founders Kathryn and Emily created Choice with a simple guiding belief: every meal should be a step toward better health for both you and the planet.
We’re here to bring you the best in fresh, plant-based food that’s as delicious as it is nourishing. We use locally sourced Maui produce and high-quality superfoods to create meals that support your well-being and the planet.
Our goal is to elevate the health of our community while treating everyone like ‘ohana. We’re committed to sustainable practices, friendly service, and a welcoming space where you can enjoy food made with care. You have a choice—make it count with us!

FAQs
Do you have Honey Free options?
Absolutely! All of our menu items can be made honey-free. Just let our cashier know when ordering, or select the honey-free option when ordering online.
Are you a franchise?
Nope, we're not a franchise! Choice is still run by our two original founders, who are hands-on everday. We’re locally owned and proud to be a part of the community every day, with no off-island corporate ties.
How many locations do you have?
We currently have two locations on the island of Maui, Hawaii located in Kaanapali and Paia, and we’re excited to announce a new one opening in Wailea in 2025!
Do you have Gluten Free options?
Yes, we offer many gluten-free options! Almost all our menu items are gluten-free or can be made gluten-free. The only items with gluten are our regular granola but we have 2 gluten free options, our wrap, and our toast but gluten free bread is available.
While we are not certified gluten-free and don’t have a separate toaster for those with celiac, we use very little gluten in our kitchen.
We take extra precautions, such as deep cleaning blenders and preventing cross-contamination, to ensure one of the safest gluten free dining experiences on Maui.
What happened to your Lahaina location?
Our beloved Lahaina flagship was lost in the 2023 wildfires. Although it’s no longer with us, Lahaina holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re grateful for the community support.
